Paik Replayed is a research project on digital exhibitions, online circulation of artworks and their “versioning” (digital transpositions? emulations? [poor] copies?) It takes as case study a body of non-digital artworks, some by the artist Nam June Paik serving as means of understanding the transformative effects at play, in the context of remote exhibition and art–worldbuilding.

The research brings together an interdisciplinary network of researchers, field partners and artistic-scientific advisors. It is funded by SNF Grant 220177 and hosted at ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne (HES-SO).
